Part 1: Children’s Summer Nature Craft—Scavenger Hunt

If you’re like me, you’re going a little crazy hearing the words “I’m bored” from your kids every ten minutes.

Or is it every ten seconds? Ha!

Well I’ve got a simple, easy solution to add a little fun to your kids’ summer! (and hopefully give you a little break).

I created this simple “nature scavenger hunt” for my own kids, and I wanted to share it with you!

-It kept them occupied for a good 45 minutes

-it got them outside

-it sparked their curiosity

Here’s my daughter, Aurora, holding her bag for our scavenger hunt. (You knew the farm was named after her, right?!)

It’s so simple, it requires pretty much no instruction, except “find one of each of these things.”

You could either have your kids collect the objects in a bag, or you could give them an old camera to take pictures of each thing they find (that added even more fun for my kids).
